NOTES FROM THE PLANNING MEETING OF: Prayer Vigil and Prayer Walk by Prayer Warriors and Spiritual Journey 10/30/2010 By Pastor Toby *Our Church Fast will be held on Thursday, November 4, from 6:00am to 5:00pm. It will consist of fasting from food and electronics. *The 24 hour prayer Vigil will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 5-6 from 6:00pm to 6:00 pm. *Opening prayer service will be held 6:00 – 7:00pm on Friday, and closing celebration service will be held 5:00-6:00pm on Saturday. *Scheduling will be done by the Personal Contact Team and Vigil planning Team. (It will consist of: Individuals, Families, and Ministry Groups.) *Inserts in the Sunday bulletin will be done by Pastor Toby. Security – Helen Britt will ask the Men. *Background Music- Pastor Toby *Refreshment Schedule in the Fellowship Hall – Helen and Ruby Turner Written Prayer Guide – Pastor Toby Healing Station - in front of Sanctuary – Pastor Kellie Guest Clergy Chaplains – Invited by Pastor Kellie, Pastor Toby, and Lavern Mason. Prayer Request - Personal Contact Team Foot Steps/Praying Hands –Debbie Chambers For the PRAYER WALK which is to be held Sunday Nov. 14th 2010: *We will walk around the block (Helena, Parkwood, Elgin, and E. 105the Street. (Prayer Leaders may spend an extra few minutes on each corner to pray) *We plan to sing, and pray as we walk *Opening service will be for 10 minutes, as balloons are being distributed. *Pastor Toby will purchase and deliver the balloons by 5:00 pm on Sat. *Renee Harrison will prepare the scriptures and prayers to tie around the balloons. * Sub-Committee (Debbie, Renee, Pastor Toby will make signs to carry) *We will ties the prayers and scriptures at 5:00 on Saturday the 13th. *Pastor Kellie will make flyers and invitations, and will take youth from the church and do a pre-announcement outing in the community. *Time line: 10 minutes Opening prayer service 20 minutes – The Walk 10 minutes – Ending celebration
