HOST-HOSTESS TEAM AND THE CELEBRATION TEAM MEETING MINUTES     10/10/10

The Host-Hostess/Celebration Teams are essential to plan for a most inspirational Celebration Sunday service and fellowship. These teams are to encourage people to participate in/attend Celebration Sunday, and work together to make Celebration Sunday an influential and joyous event.

I.             THE CELEBRATION SERVICE:

·       ONE JOINT SERVICE AT 10:00am

·       CHOIRS SINGING WILL BE : Warriors, G.C.G, and the Praise Choirs

·       PRAISE - Band, Team, and Dancers shall minister in music

·       Liturgical Dancers shall render a Liturgical dance

·       Charter Members will be Acknowledge and celebrated

·       Special  Celebration Sunday Poem by Hostess Bessie Smith

·       Pastors will preach a joint message

·       Color Scheme will be purple and gold

·       Ella Thomas will contact Ushers and Greeters

·       Asia’s New Theme Song

II.             THE FELLOWSHIP HOUR CELEBRATION

Program:

·       Moments for Testimonies

·       Special Music

·       Special Cheer

·       Pastor Kellie will be asked to M.C. the program on the stage

Decorations and Set Up:

* Andrea, Jeanette, Raffia, Juanita and Patricia will set up on Saturday

*Everyone   on the Team will help Clean Up

* Decoration Committee (Renee, Peaches, Debbie, Anita, will begin decorating on Saturday at 4:00pm

Brunch Menu:  (Buffett Style Stations) Chicken Wings, Mini Sandwiches, Sausage (pork and turkey), Eggs, Grits, biscuits, Pastries and sweet rolls. Green Salad with all the “fixings’, Chips, Cheese and crackers, Desserts, Lemonade, Orange Juice, and Coffee

Individual Team Member Responsibilities:

Debbie – English cucumbers, bacon bits, croutons

Ella – Carrots, fruit, shredded cheese

John and Anita – tomatoes

Bessie – onions,

Renee - shredded cheese, sweet rolls

Raffia – mushrooms

Andrea – mini sandwiches

Juanita - chips

Patricia – Salad dressings: ranch, french, and Italian (will pick up chicken)

Jeanette – lettuce, mixed salad mix

Tina – ice and lemonade

Pastor Kellie –cheese and crackers

Pastor Toby – fruit, pastries, (will order and pick up Celebration cake)

Nelson –fruit

Everyone will bring a dessert

Mary James will be asked to prepare the breakfast foods
